Privacy Policy
SkyStack is a one-tap tower stacking game made by Mediaverse Ltd (London & Tel Aviv, "Mediaverse", "we"). This policy explains what information the SkyStack app for iOS and Android, the web version at skystack.mediaverse.ai and the SkyStack online service collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to SkyStack; our other websites and products have their own policies.
The short version
- You play under a player name you choose. We never ask for your email address, phone number or real name.
- We store your game results (scores, tower heights, battles, challenges) and your friends list so that leaderboards and multiplayer work.
- There are no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no in-app purchases, and we never sell or share your data with advertisers.
- You can delete your profile and all of its data yourself, at any time, from inside the app.
Information we collect

| Technical data | Your IP address is processed for a short time, in memory, to protect the service from abuse (rate limiting); it is not stored in our database. Server logs contain request times and paths, never passwords or session tokens. |
Settings, pass-and-play results and the records kept on your device stay on your device; they are not uploaded. If you play without an internet connection, your results are stored on the device and uploaded to your profile when you are back online.
Information we do not collect
No email address, phone number, real name, contacts, photos, precise or approximate location, advertising identifiers, device identifiers for tracking, payment details, or health data. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software.
How we use your information
- To run the game's online features: your profile, leaderboards, friends, live 1-vs-1 battles and challenges.
- To let you keep your profile across devices when you protect it with a password.
- To keep the service fair and secure, for example by limiting abusive traffic and rejecting implausible results.
- To diagnose and fix problems with the service.
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on the performance of our contract with you (providing the game) and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
What other players can see
Your player name, avatar and level are visible to other players, for example on leaderboards and in battles. Your friends can also see whether you are online and what you are doing in the app, and your results in challenges you play with them. Your opponent in a live battle sees your score and tower while you play. Please do not use your real name or other personal information as your player name if you prefer not to show it.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers. We use the following providers to run the service: DigitalOcean (hosting and database, servers located in the United States) and the app stores of Apple and Google for distribution of the mobile app. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of players and of Mediaverse.
International transfers
The SkyStack servers are located in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed there. We take the steps required by applicable law to protect it in such transfers.
How long we keep your information
We keep your profile and gameplay data for as long as your profile exists. When you delete your profile, everything attached to it (profile, scores, friends, challenges, sessions) is removed from our live database immediately; finished battle records are kept without any link to you. Encrypted database backups expire automatically within seven days. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
Your choices and rights
- See and change your data — your profile, records and friends are shown in the app, where you can also change your player name and avatar.
- Delete your profile — in the app: Profile → Delete my profile. See how to delete your SkyStack account.
- Log out on a device at any time from the Profile screen.
- Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise them, write to [email protected] and include your player name.
Children
SkyStack is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A player name and gameplay results are the only data collected, and no email or real name is requested. If you believe a child under 13 has created a profile, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (TLS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, session tokens are stored only as hashes, and access to the database is restricted to the game's server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will publish the new version at this address and update the effective date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
